Wendy Pizzol

Wendy has been the director of Active Kids since 2012. Alongside her family, she has grown Active Kids from one small centre to eight building off a strong reputation of professionalism and approachability. Wendy's wholesome family approach is what makes Active Kids what so many local families love.

Assistant Director

Davina Pizzol

Prior to stepping into behind the scenes work Davina worked as the Educational Leader at Active Kids St Carthages and St Francis Xavier. She brings her passion for fun programs into her work in the Management Team. You may see Davina in the centres assisting in staff training and development. Davina holds a Diploma in School Aged Education and Care.

Briana Pizzol

Briana works behind the scenes at Active Kids after many years in the centres as an educator and loves being apart of making Active Kids the best it can possibly be. At home, Briana is a mum of two and is driven in her work to support families balance work and childcare, knowing their kids are in the best hands. Briana holds a certificate 4 in School Aged Education and Care,

Adrian works behind the scenes of Active Kids making everything going round! When he steps into the centres as part of educator training he brings high energy and laughter.

Alaina

Alaina has been apart of the Active Kids team for many years now and stepped into the Educational Leader position at AK St Carthage's back in 2021. Alaina also works as part of our admin team. Alaina brings her sporting flair to AK and always has a great physical activity planned for the group. Alaina holds a Diploma in School Aged Education and Care.

Shontae

Shontae brings her creativity to her role at Active Kids and is always coming up with great craft ideas. Shontae also assists in the admin team and you'll see Shontae's influence in our Vacation Care programs.

Kerryn

Kerryn has been our Educational Leader at AK St Mary's since 2018 and she brings so much energy to her role. Kerryn is a mum of two (her eldest daughter, Kiara is an educator at Active Kids too!) and outside of work she loves to cook and get outdoors.

Maria

Maria has had a long career working with children and is a mum herself. Her caring nature is well known at Active Kids. Maria speaks fluent Greek and holds her certificate 3 in Auslan (sign language). Outside of work she loves to read, write, draw and go camping.

Paolo

Paolo has been a man of many hats at Active Kids and is a familiar face to many. Paolo is our Educational Leader at Active Kids GSAC and his unmistakable energy is much regarded there. Through the term he works at a few centres so you will most likely see him around!

Anna

Anna has been working at Active Kids for many years, now taking up the role of Educational Leader at SCC, and studying for a Bachelor of Education.

Anna loves sport, plays Netball in the local comps, and you will often find her running around with the kids!

Wendy is a mum of three teenagers and brings her experience as a mum to her role at Active Kids. She loves coming up with creative projects for the group and is also a fit and active educator who loves getting involved in a game!

Alana

Alana holds her certificate 3 in childcare and spent 5 years as a Nanny in Australia and Italy. Alana has an extensive background in leadership and management and as well as working in childcare before joining the Active Kids team she worked as a practice manager at a physio clinic. Outside of work Alana loves swimming and being outdoors.

Chloe

Chloe grew up in the Northern Rivers and enjoys spending her time at the beach or in the countryside. Chloe believes in empowering children to embrace their individuality. Whether that be through creative arts or physical play, she enjoys seeing kids express themselves freely and have fun! Chloe is working towards completing her Bachelor of Education.

Shekwa is a former primary school teacher with over eight years of experience working with children across both school and after school care settings. With a strong focus on nurturing children’s social and emotional wellbeing, she prioritizes play, fun, and positive connections. Passionate about creativity, Shekwa integrates her love for art and music into the program, creating engaging activities that inspire confidence and joy in every child.

Kiara

Kiara has been apart of the AK family since she was 14 years old! She started off volunteering at AK St Mary's, then an educator at AK St Carthages and now a Responsible Person at AK SCC.

She is very excited to meet the new faces at SCC and get to know the families.

Kiara loves being outside in the sun, especially with her dog Sadie. Kiara loves the beach, going on adventures and her family and friends.
